WHAT IS MDRT QUALITY THEN?

MDRT advisers do the things that mediocre don’t do and mediocre don’t do what the MDRT advisers do. So, what do they really do?

  • They have a Plan and they execute those plans without an excuse
  • They have a structured and defined process
  • They take full responsibility for their actions
  • They update themselves with the latest regulation and compliances
  • They join networks and build bridges to new highways
  • They will always improve their closing ratio
  • They handle objections before an objection
  • They develop their own strategies if they don’t have one; they will re-engineer and structure it such away that is their own
  • They have no time to gossip, chit-chat and negativity time in the office
  • Their activities are well planned – From referrals system, seminar selling, group discussion, road-shows, social media activities and well-planned market positioning of themselves
  • They work with lawyers, accountants, remisers, real estate agents and media
  • They have a well-balanced life with properly managed weekly schedules

WHY MANY ARE NOT MDRT ADVISERS?

Majority advisers are looking for a miracle strategy; they attend seminars after seminars and making the speaker rich rather then looking at themselves and see what is really lacking in them. When I first join the insurance industry my mentors were books, articles, news and human behavioural. I invest lots of my time learning about myself; my behaviour, weakness, strengths and what I really need to be a MDRT/COT/TOT adviser. I start reading about life stories like – Sylvester Stallone, Keanu Reeves, Manny Pac, and many others – how they succeed…..the answer is always HARD-WORK. 1% Luck and 99% Hard-Work.

I WORKED ON MY ACTIVITIES – HARD-WORK

I started planting seeds – The Parable of the Sower (sometimes called the Parable of the Soils) is a parable of Jesus found in the three Synoptic Gospels in Matthew 13:1-23, Mark 4:1-20, and Luke 8:4-15.  Some seed falls on the path (wayside) with no soil, some on rocky ground with little soil, and some on soil which contained thorns. YOU SEE THAT’S PROSPECTING!!!

MDRT ADVISERS throw and sow seeds every single day; they will not stop and if they see its growing they care of them so that they will bear good fruits and after fruits (referrals)…. Activities breeds Activities!!

IT DOESN’T MATTER HOW MUCH YOU KNOW UNTIL THE PROSPECTS KNOWS HOW MUCH YOU REALLY CARE!!

This statement is interesting and when I first heard it I thought it was for my clients – in fact I was wrong!! absolutely wrong!!! Just like planting a seed – you need to care for it, watch over it, water it, prune it till it produces fruits!!! JUST WOW!!! Lots of work before they bear fruit (client) till then they are still PROSPECTS!!!

When I wrote my first book “MY DREAM JOURNEY” there were many critics about my book but I didn’t really care what others say – I just ignore and be proud of what I wrote; then 2 Years later in 1992 – everyone insurance agent have my book on their table!! more then 10,000 books were sold across Asia – those days there were no social media and etc, yet thousands were sold.  In that book I told readers how I failed and what were my dreams and how I am going to pursue for happiness!! I became 5 Times TOP FINANCIAL ADVISER – MDRT, COT, TOT were just some of the title I earned!!

PURSUE FOR MDRT – ITS NOT ABOUT THE MONEY BUT IS ABOUT HOW MANY FAMILIES AND INDIVIDUALS YOU HAVE HELPED – GET IT!!!

What is the message of the sower!! – The explanation of the parable of the sower. JESUS said to his disciples: “Hear then the parable of the sower. The seed sown on the path is the one who hears the word of the Kingdom without understanding it, and the Evil One comes and steals away what was sown in his heart.

THE EVIL ONE COMES AND STEALS AWAY!!!! Who is the evil ones – the negative people around you, the mediocre, the non-believer of hard-work and etc…STAY away from them and focus on FORWARD!!

Start your journey and never ever be afraid to FAIL!!! “Success is not for Chosen Few; Success is Chosen by Few.”
