We believe great power comes with great responsibilities; like people in the government, military, navy or event the airforce. Everyone of them are empowered by the law and if they abuse it then it will be a nightmare for the people who have faith in them.

FINWAZE likewise have taken the role of empowering people in financial literacy; we make it our goal to ensure proper financial education are given to everyone.

Our recent visit to police academy was indeed an eye-opener to see how hungry they are to learn and educate themselves and we offer this courses for free; is our our way of contributing back to the society.

We really enjoyed teaching these police officers to do the right thing right. They were given an idea of what financial literacy is all about;

  1. What is Asset & Liabilities?
  2. What is Risk & Reward?
  3. What is Stocks and Shares?
  4. How dangerous is FOREX?
  5. What is Bonds?
  6. What is Business and how to be profitable?
  7. Why fully paid home is important?
  8. Why Income Generating Asset is important?
  9. Why staying invested in the market is important?
  10. Why Philippines Stock Exchange is a Jewel of Asia?
  11. and many more.

We also took time to share to importance to know the good and bad in Investments – “The power of compoundment” and “To construct and investment portfolio that will withstand market shock and yet gives a decent rate of returns of 6-12% annually”

We also took time to explain why as a police officer one should be financial literate; as they will be able to discern what is good and bad. By having financial knowledge also will lead to confidence. The whole session was well received and we hope moving forward we will see more and more officers are investing their money in Philippines Stock Exchange and also engage in legal investments rather then caught in scams and unacceptable investments.

Sharon the Leader of Mindanao branch have vowed to do her best by giving more opportunities for all to learn and be financial literate. She have been a great coach and mentor for many young officers and she will continue to do that in Mindanao.
