- Accumulation/distribution is a cumulative indicatorthat uses volume and price to assess whether a stock/currency pair or other assets is being accumulated or distributed. The accumulation/distribution measure seeks to identify divergences between the stock and other asset price and volume flow. This provides insight into how strong a trend is. There are three steps to calculating the Accumulation Distribution Line (ADL). First, calculate the Money Flow Multiplier. Second, multiply this value by volume to find the Money Flow Volume. Third, create a running total of Money Flow Volume to form the Accumulation Distribution Line (ADL)
- Stochastic – In technical analysis of securities trading, the stochastic oscillator is a momentum indicator that uses support and resistance levels. Dr. George Lane developed this indicator in the late 1950s. The term stochastic refers to the point of a current price in relation to its price range over a period of time.
